Projects supported

Friends of MCSPA include supporting activities such as pastoral work in parishes in the regions where MCSPA members are based.

Friends of MCSPA also support humanitarian and development activities which include supporting communities that have been affected by environmental, ecological, or humanitarian crises.

Their primary project areas encompass activities related to the promotion of spirituality and the advancement of the catholic faith. In the broadest of terms this will include activities such as pastoral work in parishes in the regions where the members are based and all the activities that are associated with running a parish.

In addition, projects will include sponsoring students who commit themselves to the missionary life, training or supporting church personnel including catechists, missionaries who are members of MCSPA.

Finally in the area of pastoral activities their projects will include the construction of churches, formation houses or residences for the church and MCSPA personnel.

As well as supporting the pastoral activities of our partner organisation, we support humanitarian activities which will include supporting communities that have been affected by environmental, ecological, or humanitarian crises.

It is important to support all aspects of the development agenda, therefore the Friends of MCSPA will support the development of water resources as a key priority as it is much needed for any further development work. Additionally, we will support projects covering health, nutrition, agriculture, education, and educational care. We work with persons and communities that have been marginalized in the development and self-reliance process.

More information about the projects we support can be found in the latest news section on our sister site: mcspa.org/news/
